I laughed and cried throughout the whole book. Jennifer is a humorous writer with a great imagination. This is not a heavy story, but one of hope and joy. Some parts of her story are joyful and some are heartbreaking, but all of them were told with a genuine and open heart.
I believe this book will be relatable for so many. Relationships are hard, especially if you grew up not seeing how to have a healthy one. At the center of every healthy relationship is both individuals knowing their Creator intimately and that’s the most inspirational part of her testimony. She describes her journey through unhealthy relationships that lead her to a desperate need for an intimate relationship with God. Once this was in place, she describes how God unleashed his blessings on her life that fulfilled the true desires of her heart. She ultimately describes how all throughout our journey, God knows us better than we know ourselves.”

“I couldn’t wait to get my copy of Breadcrumbs. It was hard to put down at times, kind of like a cliffhanger at the end of some chapters. I also was encouraged to seek God’s plan instead of my own desires, as His plans are always better than my own. I laughed out loud; I was afraid at one point about what the outcome would be after a tailspin wreck. You have to read the book to find out what happened. I loved seeing that the author, even in some of the most challenging times of her life, never had given up on God and His plans. I love a great ending, and this one is fantastic; also, there is a surprise at the end; I wish I had known earlier; I might have cheated and gone to the end earlier. I’ve been tempted to do this with a good book, but have never done it…it is worth the read. I finished it before the week was out.” ~Angie

“I have been a single mom for seven years now. When I was five months pregnant with my daughter, I had to file for divorce. It was a nasty divorce that stretched for 3 ½ years. I cried myself to sleep every night for almost three years and wondered if I would ever stop crying. Not because I wanted him back or missed him, but because it wasn’t what I wanted my life to look like. It wasn’t what God had for me either. No one in my family had gone through a divorce, not siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and my Parents are High School Sweethearts.
The one thing I did that was good was immediately ask GOD to refine me and make me the woman he wanted me to be. I clung to scripture, and it was food for my soul. I would show up 2 or 3 hours early to court, read over proverbs, and soak up every word so that it would be written on my heart. We were endlessly in court. God always found ways to brighten my day or show me what I call “God Hugs.” It was so beautiful in this book how she put many of those same feelings I had into words.
So much fruit has come from me chasing after God over these last several years. A year ago, my ex and I finally came to a place of peace. I never thought that would happen. Also, four months ago, God opened my heart to the idea that he has prepared me to be in a place where my heart is open to finding love, I haven’t found it yet. I have deep-found patience for it that I wouldn’t have had before. Over the last several years, I’ve built thick walls, and suddenly those walls are gone.
Reading this book gave me hope of finding love and what that looks like after God has transformed your heart. I know that no man in my past has ever really cherished me the way God cherishes me and has a man out there that will also.
Jen Jeffery Billington is an amazing author. I received this book in the mail yesterday afternoon and just finished reading it an hour ago. I could not put it down.”
